Fly fishing
There are four lochans not less than four feet deep of natural water fed from a subterranean source. All are stocked with quality Rainbow trout.

Fly fishing is for the enthusiast to test his skill with floating or sinking lines, dry or wet flies no larger than size ten to entice their naturally feeding quarry.

Undamaged or stressed fish may be returned to the water. The Lochans provide the ideal place to take up or improve on the techniques of fly fishing.

Bait fishing
Bait fishing on the two inner lochans gives everyone including the novice the chance to land a table-sized fish. Assistance is readily at hand from the cabin where rods can be hired, sweetcorn bait provided, nets and priests supplied.

All fish caught are brought to the cabin to be weighed, bagged and paid for.
